“I have battled with clinical depression for many years. I was on many different medications to help me cope. The Lord recently called me to Light Of Life and I immediately sensed His power and presence in the services. One Sunday morning during Worship, Pastor Mark opened the altar for ministry and I responded not knowing what might happen next. I received a Prophetic word about my depression and that Jesus was breaking it off of me that very moment. I immediately felt a weight being lifted off my shoulders. I then remembered that I was to have a procedure to remove a kidney stone in the upcoming weeks, and sought to receive prayer for this, as well. Because the number of people being prayed for was so great, I was not able to receive this specific ministry, but I did have great peace about the situation. I had the successful procedure, and all of the doctors inquired about the pain that I must have had before and after the procedure. I replied that there was virtually no pain at all! “One morning my son Daniel, who is in preschool, said that he was not coming out of his room for breakfast because he was going to "fast breakfast."  I inquired a little more about his intention and he said he was going to fast and pray through breakfast for his “lazy eye” to be healed.  That week they went to the doctor and were informed that his eye had greatly improved.   Daniel had apparently learned about fasting from a Christian television program as well as hearing his mom and dad speak about it.  We are instructed to have the faith of a child, and with guidance, our children are never too young to learn biblical truths.  Praise the Lord!”

“Lately we have been really battling financially. After the Wednesday night service that the anointing cloths were handed out, I put one in my wallet and another in my business checkbook. On Thursday morning, things began to immediately turn around. A dormant client called me and wanted to see a house so he could write an offer on it. (Many other offers have come along since that time as well!) Also, our application was accepted into the Regent Village apartments, which will save us about $600 a month. AND, we found out that we are now going to be getting about $6000 more in student financial aid than last year.”

“Robin & I became familiar with Light Of Life through the ‘Spiritual Gifts’ Seminar and the Chamberlains and Rev Craig von Buseck in the Fall of 2007. We started attending LOLCC that Fall. Rev Craig prayed for me the Sunday before a scheduled prostate surgery to remove a cancerous mass in October. Six months ago the results of testing were not too promising, but Robin & I believed for my healing. Two weeks ago, the test results came back. The doctors say ‘ALL cancer gone!’ Praise God! "I had a degenerative condition in my right knee that caused me great pain, dysfunction and inability to walk without the aid of a walker. I responded to the Altar call during Worship and Pastor Mark, without previous knowledge of my condition, pointed at my knee and said that God was healing it in Jesus name. I immediately felt a great heat all around my knee and all the pain left. I can walk, bend down and run without pain, discomfort or dysfunction. I'm healed and healed indeed. Jesus heals. “In May 2007, I had a kidney stone, which led the doctors to find a life threatening 85% blockage of the left coronary artery. I had NO symptoms of this problem. I had prayed, three weeks before: "Lord, if there is anything that will keep me from doing Your will for the rest of my life, either reveal it or fix it.” The doctors took care of the heart problem and eventually the kidney stones. I was placed on heart medication. However, I began to experience dizziness and chest pains from time to time, especially upon standing. After much prayer and many prophetic Words of healing through Light Of Life Christian Center and Pastor Mark, it was determined the medication was the problem. I came off the medication Oct 10th, 2008. Last week, at a health screening, my cholesterol level was 157 (down from 226), and blood pressure was 128/80 (down from 186/90). As I was standing there at the Altar Worshipping, I felt warmth in my eyes and when I opened them I could see clearly. “Five years ago, there was an intense assault of the enemy against my mind. The resulting anxiety was on a level that truly cannot be described in words. There was a complete loss of peace and a seemingly disconnect from my Savior. He was operated on to remove the tumor but the Doctor said there was nothing that could be done to restore his decreased eye sight. The Doctor said that only time would tell. "On December 8th, I had test done at the VA Hospital. I was told I needed surgery on my elbow to remove floating cartilage. My elbow hurt so bad for a week that it brought tears to my eyes every time I moved it. At church at Wednesday Service on December 10th, Rev. Robert and Anne Farrell laid hands on my elbow and prayed. I announced at the Saturday December 13th Men's Breakfast and demonstrated that the pain was gone and that I had 100% pain free movement. Once again, Praise God! Praise Jesus!"

Matthew was born 4 weeks early, March 6, 2008. He was blue due to the umbilical cord being wrapped around his neck. Neonatal began a battery of tests to determine the cause of highly elevated heart rate and other challenges. Improvements were slow. A member of Congregational Care joined hands with Matthew Sr. and mother, Terri, and prayed for him. The nurses were astonished the next day at the overnight improvements. He is now home and doing wonderful. God is so good!

Mom had a stroke on Feb. 24 and was hospitalized 4 days. X-rays revealed a blood clot in her heart which caused a blind spot in her left eye and a heart rate of 26 beats/min. LOLCC Congregational Care called and visited mom to pray with and for her. Numerous tests later doctors say there were no longer signs of a blood clot and the blind spot was GONE! Her heart rate returned to normal. I praise God for his goodness and mercy!

One month ago these were present in my body and today, at the surgery center at Va. Beach General during pre-op procedure, this foreign matter was undetected - it was nowhere to be found! We do worship a God that heals and we do attend a powerful church which teaches this as part of its foundational truth. Thank-You Father and LOLCC.”

“In December I went in for my yearly check-up for cancer. The test showed positive for Lymphoma cancer. My doctor sent me to have a CT Scan which showed positive for stomach cancer. So, I was sent to a cancer doctor. The cancer doctor sent me to have a PET/CT Scan and it showed positive for cancer in Lymph nodes in two areas: stomach and groin. Finally, I was sent to have a needle biopsy in my groin area. It came out negative! I went back to the cancer doctor and He told me I do not have stomach cancer!

Two days later, I was rushed back into the ER with more symptoms, diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome. I was in and out of the ER suffering from no mobility and vomiting. I began to see a Neurologist who put me to sleep for three days but continued with no mobility and vomiting afterwards. I was placed in therapy for 3 hours a day. On June 5th, Pastor Mark, Pastor Moses and Pastor Peter prayed over my head and anointed my body with oil. It’s been 2 days, no vertigo, blackouts or nausea. I have a tiny headache but I know that it will be gone in Jesus name. Thank you so much for your prayers and support! No one can heal like Jesus!”

“In April, at my annual checkup for my heart bypass surgery (I had a quadruple bypass 2 years ago) it looked like the front of my heart was not getting enough blood-flow. They scheduled me for a heart catheterization. In my doctor’s words: “we have God arteries and man made arteries” (referring to the bypasses). After the heart cath he said my bypass arteries are shutting down because the blockages in the God-arteries are disappearing and they are taking over again. God is healing me as evidenced by the original arteries being restored and the bypasses arteries shutting down!”

With the help of LOLCC, my son and I have had a roof and food and peace and joy in Jesus’ name! HALLELUJAH!!

Last week I wrote a prayer request for my niece who was ill with fever, UTI and other infections. Praise God her fever was broken that night and she was sent home on Friday. Praise God!

I wanted to share this terrific testimony with you in answer to my recent requests for prayer, along with those who've joined me in seeking what the Lord might have for us to replace our 19-year old Chevy Lumina van that was a blessing many times over from Him, but was recently rear-ended and classified as totaled, through no fault of our own, but taken out of the running, leaving us with having to share one vehicle.
We only got a little over $1500 out of the claim, and no way would that replace the value that van had been to us and the many family trips and memories. I knew in my spirit from that point on that the Lord had something up His sleeve for us, and kept thanking Him for whatever that might be. I had CONFIDENCE in God's goodness, in spite of something unexpected having gone wrong and bringing loss of something needed and appreciated.
That was March 28th, and last night, April 10th, we had a wonderful surprise. Our son and daughter-in-law showed up out of the blue in a most unexpected way, and for my birthday too, and Easter, drove out from Little Rock to surprise us, and handed us the keys to a 2001 Cadillac, Eldorado with many special options we've never had on a car, and a sun roof, and air conditioning I haven't had in a few years too, with a 19-year old vehicle that got me around town, but not in any particular style of late, but it had been anointed, with so much prayer and praise going up in it as I rode around town.
This is such a special blessing, and, my son and daughter-in-law will be here for a week, which is really the best birthday I could have. They had gotten quite a deal on this car, and both had begun to feel, they told us afterward, it seemed meant for us, even before we experienced the loss of our van. So, once again, the Lord was preparing the way.
And, I've felt so in awe of the Lord's caring and love and amazing plans and timing. We are truly blessed. When we had the accident, I said to Him- "Lord, I can't wait to see how you get us out of this one." And, voila, here it is.
I thank the Lord especially for my son and daughter-in-law in how sensitive they are to hearing the Lord's heart, and acting on it in such a giving and generous, loving way. This hasn't been the first time. We are truly blessed.
I thank any and all who have stood with us in prayer for this special answer from on High.

My brother who has been out of work for months now has a job.

I’ve been praying for a long time for God to help me find a job to pay my bills and God blessed me with a job at Verizon! Now I have more than enough for bills. PRAISE GOD!

On Monday I had just come home and pulled into my driveway. After I got out of my truck a man came up behind me with a gun and asked for my keys. I gave him the keys and he drove off. Needless to say I was very afraid but God showed Himself strong and within an hour the police had retrieved my car and caught the guys that robbed me. He further blessed in that the guys confessed to their crime. I thank God that He protected me and restored what the enemy stole. PRAISE GOD!

Thanks to God, He has been watching over me and in the very last minute provided a friend of mine to notice that I had an extra minor to add to my Bachelor degree. I found out in Thursday and on Friday all the paperwork was due, I had no idea about the minor – it was all God!

About 1½ years ago my grandson was doing very badly in school. My family and our churches called out to God. Since then God planted him in good soil; the right school, the right teachers, the right curriculum, the right student/teacher ratio and the right program. Academically and socially he is thriving now. He just graduated having been on the honor roll all four quarters. He received several certificates, one was for most improved in reading. Pastor Mark once said that the thumbprint of God is that He not only answers our prayer but He does it above and beyond what we prayed. My grandson is 180 degrees from where he was before God intervened in this circumstance. When God says, “No child left behind” He really means it. Is anything too hard for our God? When the people of God cry out He hears.

While on a ministry to Mexico in March, my ankle was injured. It required 9 screws and 2 plates in order to put back together. I had fractured my tibula and fibula and broke small bone in top of my foot. My surgery was done once I returned home. All during the healing process, my Dr has said over and over that my foot is a miracle! They did not expect me to be walking so soon. My last x ray only showed the screws and plates, Dr said he could not tell where fractures were! His office has used word miraculous several times! Just as awesome as the healing has been, so has the prayers and support of the body at LOLCC! Your love and concern carried us during this time! You truly are an amazing church body and we love you all! And .. What awesome cooks! Blessings to you!

Our granddaughter, Kaitlin, who is 2 years old was taken to the emergency room a few weeks ago. She had suffered a seizure and was unconscious. Doctors at Virginia Beach General made the decision to send her to Kings Daughters. They were concerned about brain damage and swelling of brain. She remained unconscious and only responded to pain for 24 hours. No fever and no explanation, except low sodium. A prayer alert went out for her and Gods people lifted her to throne room! Dr was sending her to ICU the morning she awoke! She opened her eyes and asked about her dogs! Dr called her miracle baby! What another awesome testimony to the God who hears us when we pray! Thank you all and praise be to God!!!!

My son has had the ANNOINTING CLOTH under his table for weeks – he is so turned around! Jesus is Lord!

Wednesday night service my right knee was in pain. Pastor Moses laid hands and prayed for me and put God’s prescription on it and it was gone 10 minutes later.

Praise God for the divine/kingdom connections He has been doing on my life including coming to Light Of Life Christian Center.

We got our place. The credit report was good so we get to move into our new home!

Thanks for praying for my finances. I gave the last of my money to the church Wednesday night. After a few weeks God replaced the money I gave. He’s good! Praise God!
